Selfmade cosplay and Q&A: Lady Zero & Kuja Oniisan

My name is Yuri, a male Canadian cosplayer, going by Kuja Oniisan Cosplay (Formerly Narcisspuppet). I’m cosplaying mostly #SquareEnix game characters because of the amazing stories that surrounds the characters and the feels that comes with it; they are very memorable and emotional. For those who are not familiar with me, I have been cosplaying #VincentValentine, Kuja, #Noctis, #CloudStrife, #Sephiroth, #YuriLowell. I’m planning a lot more in the future from games I enjoyed playing, old and recent ones. While building the character outfits, I try my best to make them feel accurate through many hours of detailed crafting work and lengthy make up session. Each of my cosplays are self-made in team with Lady Zero as we enjoy working together. For me cosplaying is a hobby and I’m self-taught. Lady Zero or “LZ” is a female cosplayer who moved from Poland to live in Canada. Her big love to Final Fantasy pointed her way to #cosplay - and since 2009 she is cosplaying characters she loves the most. She is passionate with details, and while it takes a long time to accomplish every one of them, she enjoys the whole process. She has been cosplaying known characters such as #Lunafreya, #Aerith, #Tifa, Aya Brea, Ada Wong, Lady Zero and Lightning. Together in team with Kuja Oniisan Cosplay, she is doing everything together with him; the costumes, the #makeup, accessories, wig styling, #props, #weapons and armors. She puts her heart in every piece she builds. She uses good quality material to create the outfits, so they are more durable. She cosplays mostly from video games, especially Square Enix ones, as she feels great connection with the ones she chooses while she is playing through the games. She can’t resist how beautifully made those games are and cried at every ending.
